As the ‘911 for business’, we have streamlined our processes to suit the needs of our policyholders. Elements such as our online Quotes Package, tele-underwriting, and travelling nurses reduce turnaround time and stress for both the client and the financial adviser.
- FMI gives the financial adviser the option of completing medical questionnaires via the traditional paper application form or electronically, through our Quotes Package, allowing for an accelerated application process and shortened turn-around time. Written signatures are not required on electronic applications as such applications are verified telephonically with the client.
- Tele-underwriting: Financial advisers can hand the process over to FMI to conduct tele-underwriting. Medical questions traditionally asked on an application form can be asked over the phone by a trained FMI underwriter. Restricted at a maximum of 20 minutes per call, this is efficient and convenient for the client and reduces the risk to the financial adviser with regards to the client’s medical questions.
- Travelling nurses: Through a partnership with two of the country’s biggest laboratories, nurses are able to travel and perform basic blood tests on the client in the comfort of their own homes, removing the hassle of undergoing these required tests.
